our yearly workshop in mexico continues to get better and better which hardly seems possible! we're already looking forward to our return next feb. opie has taken a biz-illion pictures, so we'll begin part 1 with the Hacienda itself and our gracious host sandra "sam" leonard and the ever-adorable stella.
sam and i are happy to be together again. this is our 4th year.
isn't stella too adorable. she's everybody"s pet "fix" while we're away from home.
the Hacienda is beautiful. from the house to the grounds it's a visual feast.
here's the main house. there is also a casita and other rooms on the grounds.
the out-door kitchen is fantastic. our chef lalo and his delectable offerings will be featured in part 2.
the colorful sculpture and the gardens are simply a delight. here's a peek.
the pool is as inviting as it looks. opie took this shot with his Diana Lomo camera.
a mosaic of sam, blanca and stella near our workshop area. the workshop will be featured in part 3.
sometimes the largest iguana's will come to visit here. stella loves to chase them.
more beautiful flowers. color, color, everywhere.
another mosaic sculpture. colorful but not functional... lol!
from the main house you can just view the inviting path leading to the workshop area.
and here's the path itself.
wind-chimes and glass balls are suspended in the greenery.
we'll continue part 2 with lalo and his amazing food, my birthday celebration, and some favorite Vallarta restaurants.
